The Folkestone Partnership (FP) is a not for profit organisation which acts as a key support to the business community. The Folkestone Partnership encompasses Folkestone Town Centre Management and its trading arms comprising:
Discover Folkestone, Hythe and Romney Marsh (DFH&RM) the tourism initiative commenced by Folkestone Town Centre Management in 2003 has now been adapted to deliver tourism marketing for many businesses connected with the tourism, leisure and hospitality industry in the area. (NB: A tourist information service is now operated by Folkestone Town Council, from the Town Hall)
Folkestone Area Partnership Against Crime (FAPAC) works with the Police, Community Safety Unit, CCTV Monitoring Centre, Businesses and the general public to reduce crime and disorder in towns and public spaces, providing a digital Radio scheme for the Day and Licensed economy sectors, supported by a Website, regular crime Intelligence, and an excluded offenders report with photographs.

HELP SUPPORT OUR OBJECTIVES
The Folkestone Partnership is adaptable and will move with the times; and just as Folkestone Town Centre Management has ALWAYS had Folkestone and its environs at the heart of everything it’s done, the Partnership will continue to ensure its work is relevant to the needs of the many diverse businesses.
Assuming combined funding contributions are made through membership subscriptions, our 2015 objectives are:
- To work alongside and in support of groups and individuals with a key interest in things that bring benefit; such as Folkestone’s Town Team; Folkestone Festivals; businesses; partners from public and private sector, ensuring Folkestone and its environs offers a vibrant, safe, clean and welcoming environment.
- Deliver and operate www.folkestone.towntalk.co.uk and DFH&RM Portal ensuring activity, marketing, promotions and communications are current and relevant.
- Deliver, manage and operate marketing and promotional activity and initiatives to bring benefit to members.
- Marketing material and initiatives for 2015 will comprise:
• DFH&RM annual publication /member guide
• Loyalty Card Scheme to benefit Residents and Visitors
• Advertising campaigns to support Folkestone Partnership members (all of the above are subject to member support)
