Folkestone based Sai Care Homes clean up at the Kent Care Awards with awards that recognise their exceptional contribution to the care sector in Kent.

Sai Care Homes were awarded with the Putting People First and Dementia Care Awards at the awards evening that welcomed over 300 guests.

Judged on the dedication, commitment, and examples of excellence the winning entires were presented to Sai Care Homes employees, Danny Hutchington who won the Putting People First Award, and Chris Woodward who won the Dementia Care Award.

Adam Hutchison, Vice chair of KICA says: “Well done to Chris and Danny and Sai Care Homes. The awards are well deserved and we look forward to hearing more about their high standards and successes in the future.”

Sponsored by Kent County Council the event was attended by Cabinet member for Adult Social Care and Public Health, Graham Gibbens, and the newly appointed corporate director for adult social care and health, Penny Southern.

The Annual Care Awards celebrate the work carried out by carers and care companies in Kent. The awards provide a chance to reward those people who have simply delivered something awesome whilst recognising the Kent care sector as a whole showing appreciation and recognising the good work everyone does day in day out, year after year.
