The final Harbourside Night Market of the year takes place on Sunday 17th December on Folkestone’s The Stade.
A variety of stalls and traders are participating complementing the existing traditional businesses on the picturesque harbour setting. Stall spaces are almost all taken and you will find Fresh produce, including bread, pastries, cakes and meat. A variety of traders will be selling a range of unique gifts, original art and prints, jewellery, candles, sweets and handmade cards amongst other things.
The event will take place between 4pm and 8pm.
Music on the Quayside during the evening will come from local Reggae Band, Jimmy and the Riddles playing from 6pm. In The Ship Pub, the band, M3 will be playing late afternoon through to 6pm.
There are a limited number of FREE places open to community groups so if you wish to FUNDRAISE with the emphasis on FUN then contact the organisers to book a place. Maybe you could raise funds through a Tombola or raffle or sales of festive goods; all bringing benefitting your organisation. Enquiries will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.
The event has been planned by the Harbour Ward Residents Association with event management support from Folkestone Festivals and is able to take place thanks to funding from Folkestone Town Council and Shepway Councillor Mary Lawes through a ward grant. Funding has also provided for a number of Christmas trees and lighting which aim to bring a great community feel to The Stade this festive season
