Bankrobber, Art Dealer and Banksy expert
It is three years since Folkestone’s Banksy mural, Art Buff, was removed from a wall and shipped to the US for sale. It is two years since a British judge ruled that it should be returned to the town. Hosted by the Creative Foundation’s Chief Executive, Alastair Upton, we will open up a lively debate on public art and the pros and cons of having a Banksy appear in your town.
We will hear from Bankrobber, art dealer and Banksy expert who supervised Art Buff‘s removal and Tim Maxwell from Boodle Hatfield, who represented the Creative Foundation in the groundbreaking legal case effecting its return.
