Sun 10 Sep, 1 - 3pm Free / Booking essential / All tours begin at The Clearing - Folkestone Triennial Visitor Centre at Quarterhouse
Explore Folkestone Triennial from the perspective of an avid food lover. With Folkestone’s history so firmly tied to the sea, and with a small fleet of trawlers still active, seafood is a vital part of the town’s heritage. This walk will explore some of the hidden stories of Folkestone’s foodie history, as well as taking in some newer arrivals making the most of Kent’s lush produce and all while exploring this year’s artworks.
Emma Wilcox is a creative producer, cultural consultant and self-titled glutton who established a pop-up supper club in Faversham that celebrates all that is great about Kentish food and drink. She is always keen to share her love for food and finds ways to weave it into all aspects of her life.
